Junya Watanabe CDG

Unfortunately these images aren't the best from Reinforce but we can get an idea of what's coming from the spring season from Junya Wantanbe. I was really a big fan of a number of the fall collection pieces from the tradition trench to the varsity blazer (which fit me perfectly). I honestly hadn't really got into the collection too much, mostly because of price and availability. Now I know a couple stockists that I can locate the line and also how well it fits, so the sad thing left to deal with is the price. I like the navy blazer with the metal buttons shown here for spring. I worn a similar jacket, alhought much worse cut and design, back in high school since we had uniforms. I actualy used to not buy my own and find used ones laying around, and when I could I would wear one that fit far too small in the arms and length. I'm not claiming to be on the Thom Browne steez since high school, but something about the cut of this blazer is reminiscent of those days and something I wouldn't mind playing with again.

The blazer on it's own would be great but these are a little weird. The blue jacket is attached to the blazer and it's reversible. The first image is on one way, the second is on the other.

Just a little heads up as well... It's Junya Watanabe, you don't need that first N.

I knew it looked wrong...I was typing fast.

And I didn't realize it was the same piece. That sucks.

Yeh, by itself the blazer would've been a great, classic piece...

Did you go to smus by any chance?

Yeah, it's part of a series that use a Brooks Brothers blazer as a starting point and then add a bit of a twist. They've also done another reversible one with red or blue gingham on the inside.
