Wings+Horns Spring Jackets

Wings+Horns has been a line I've liked for a couple years now. I'm not claiming to have been there from the beginning but the last 3-4 seasons have been consistently strong. There is a very special element to the construction, quality and unique design. I feel like there isn't another brand like Wings+Horns. When the brand is good, that is definitely a good, and difficult thing to accomplish. It's also pretty amazing that they can have their design studio and office only a floor above their manufacturing - in Vancouver. The brand has definitely been evolving and growing and this spring we see some more new pieces, some traditionally W+H, and some a bit more classic looking. The light Canadian military shirt/jacket and the khaki trench are my two favorite picks from the preview. Both pieces I would wear daily, and there is a good chance either of them will end up in my closet. I'm excited to see what else is in the spring/summer collection now.

Looks like another good collection.

Just a personal discrepancy, but I feel like these two garments you featured would benefit from swapping button designs. The trench would look better without the hidden buttons along the center and the other green jacket would look less overwhelmed if it's center buttons were hidden. Anyone else?

The trench is a buy for me and I like it with the flap over the buttons for rain/wind and a cleaner look for the office.

Ya, I wouldn't say I would prefer a button swap. They probably would still look good. But the military jacket with exposed buttons seems to make sense and the more traditional Mac style coat usually has the covered buttons. I am not always a big fan of covered buttons in general, but it works on pieces like this.

I think both of these jackets are really good personally.
