With the speed of trends increasing the turn around and decreasing the life span I was worried that people might not be looking upon cropped pantalons too fondly this spring. I am pretty happy to see the Sartorialist has no problem with them and either do these well dressed Italians. The look is very classic and has lived through several trends I'm sure so it's staying power with the generation (y) folks is probably going to be stronger than t shirts with rap lyrics. It can look great on somebody in their early twenties to somebody proud to be 52. More often than not I seem to like a short pant. Whether its cropped or rolled, I feel it's a good idea. Of course to actually look good you have to put it together with every other item as these men have done. I love both for different reasons. Grey, grey, navy, leather boots, knitted cap - all things I love.

the gentlemen in the left picture does not have cropped pants, but rather a well tailored pants. and a better note on what's going down on the sartorialist is cuffed wool pants no pleats. now thats the good shit. and it does give you the really nice shorter pant look and amazing shoe presents.
