I mentioned the skin care, scent, tasteful man's brand Baxter of California a little while back, but I had to make a quick update as I've had some recent experience with the products; thanks to Baxter for the great package I received recently. So far I've quite enjoyed the Jasmine Noir scented candle, some of the skin cleanser and the moisturizer. I have been stuck on, and happy with a Biotherm facial moisturizer, so it will be hard to pull me away from that specific product. But so far I am quite impressed. The packaging is also quite noteworthy. It feels really well made and looks great. A few unexpected swear words mixed-in keeps things on the light side as I really get the feeling the products are for men, by men - which is a good thing. I plan on exhausting all of these products to see how they work personally in the short term. The first couple have been great, so again, thank you to Baxter of California. Their products are available on their website and at Roden Gray.

I agree! I found the products from Baxter a joy to use. The products are direct and too the point, instantly bestowing a sense of quality. not to mention they're encased in well designed packaging. always a plus.
My brother has been running an online store selling men's grooming products for ~5 years now. Basically when this metrosexual trend started getting popular. So yeh.. i've been using products by Baxter and similar brands for a while.
Although just recently my bro hooked me up with their conditioner and i have to say... it's probably the best i've ever used. I love that fact that it's minty and gives your scalp a super cool/refreshing feel.
Also love their oil/fragrance free moisturizer. A couple of other brands to look into are Sharps and Men-U.
been using baxter for about 3 years solid now - NOTHING tops the scrub, face wash and aftershave ... and i have reading a lot about them as of recent, but few seem to note the "value", its all about the design, which is all good, but there its more than just a pretty package.
Ive become a true fan of this line. Every item in the line up makes sense and works damn well. The market is cluttered with garbage. Its refreshing to have a brand thats just real. And yes, the packaging is what got me hooked. Keep up the good work, BOC. Nice post.
Where can you get this line in Vancouver?
