You can pretty much bank on a lot of Engineered Garments posts coming up in the coming months as the spring collection starts to show up in Japan as well as stateside. Your welcome if your a fan, sorry if you're not - but you should be. This field jacket is another good reason why. I like that Engineered Garments really sticks to the traditional styles and doesn't really play with the base models a whole lot. Being able to find certain pieces season after season is a nice feature for some brands. This chambray looking version of the field jacket is definitely a pretty good looking piece. I can imagine it with some thick khaki chinos and some boots in the spring already. The shawl collar and pocketing is pretty much perfect and no doubt the fit would help you accomplish the anti-fit quite nicely on top of 2-4 other layers.
