Rag & Bone have decided to continue growing their collection at a pretty sturdy rate by adding sneakers into the mix for this spring. Footwear isn't a new addition but these oxblood, leather lined sneakers are definitely new (unless I am totally out to lunch). There is definitely similarities to a Stan Smith as we've seen a couple brands use the classic silhouette in a new form. I have to say I am really not feeling Rag & Bones loafers, dress shoes or metallic versions of the sneaker very much. The oxblood is a great color and the tonal details keep the shoe looking subtle enough. However for $350 US, I don't know if it would be my first choice for a dark low top sneaker. It is encouraging to see the men behind the line continuing to push the collection in different directions. You can't make winners all of the time and the dress shoes and loafers might be great on or in person. The metallic version is unfortunate and about 4 seasons late for it to have any chance of selling...to anybody.

yeah, I saw these the other day too and was underwhelmed. I'm not sure why a brand creates these unless they thought they had a unique point of view. Which doesn't appear to be so.
They look like some all black Adidas Stan Smiths. Definitely would not be worth the price point. A pair of Common Projects would be my choice if I'm spending that on a dark pair of sneakers.
Looks almost exactly like the Generic Man Sportsman Lo's.
They look more like rod laver vintage than a stan smith. nice though.
