Teroforma Whiskey Stones

These little rocks might be one of the greatest 'inventions' ever. I'm not the biggest whiskey drinker there is, but I do like a sip of the water of life every now and again. I, like a lot of other guys I would surmise, have always always wanted to be a bit of a Scotch connoisseur as well. Made from Vermont soapstone, these whiskey stones from Teroforma maintain cold. Throw them in the freezer and put a couple in that dram of single malt. They won't dilute it and you won't have to choke down a warm glass of neat firewater. I really wish I had a couple the other day when it took me an hour to share a glass of Glenfarclas with my old man. Read more about them here.

Cool concept.

I prefer the slight dilution a pair of melting cubes adds. I try to use filtered water for ice cubes though, and also keep them fresh so they don't taste like my freezer.

Andrew at Teroforma here -

Thanks for the post O.P.

I have just blown the last 30 mins trawling through your site - great stuff.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on our own site - we're really trying to mix up what it means to be a designer/manufacturer/retailer/thinker. It's an obsessive work in progress that we all love to experiment with.

Now that I've found you, I'll make sure to check back in often.

Sorry Marilyn,
To be honest I have no Idea... maybe Andrew can answer that for you.

One thing before I get to Marilyn - in looking quickly at my post above, I mentioned 'blowing the last 30 mins on the site' - sloppy idiom - couldn't imagine time better spent even/especially when I have things I'm supposed to be doing.

Now, Marilyn. I think it's a great question. Unfortunately it has no convenient answer as we haven't yet managed to gin up a relationship with a retailer in your area. If you have a special store in mind, I'd be eager to hear about it. In the meantime, we can take your order over the phone if you aren't near a connection - 877 899 1190 - we'd be delighted to hear from you. h(y)r is an absolute fountain of welcome distractions :)
