It's been a minute, a busy month and busy year. 2009 has since arrived and so has Issue #9 from h(y)r collective. I am really excited about the issue. We have features with Velour of Sweden, Colette, some of the best bloggers around in the Business of Blogging, Vancouver's local tailor, Albert and we also take a look at some of the best brands, films, products and retailer of 2008. We also got a chance to focus in on Erik Schedin and Kenta Goto, both very interesting and inspiring designers. I took a minute to reflect on some of my favorite items in my closet and my dad and I put together a series of photos from our trip to Paris. I really hope you enjoy the first issue of '09. We have a great line up to come for the following months and we are really excited about the year to come. Thanks to everyone.

Beautiful issue. You've outdone yourself again.
You can never go wrong with that Al Green son =)
Love the new issue, I really appreciate the piece on the tailor as they often time don't get the fame and notoriety as the designer of the pieces. The Business of Blogging was a nice read to as I am a big fan of all those guys especially Mr. Davis.
Issue 9 exceeded my expectations. I figured I was the only person who thought black hardtop Defender 90's are cool! There's some for sale in Florida I think, so save your pennies.
I've decided to try and buy my dad's old YSL suit and get it tailored. That article made me crave some personalized clothing. I'm already looking forward to issue 10. Any hints on the subjects?
loved "A Few of My Favorite Things" keep it up Ryan! by the way that was a nice message when you enter the site.
" BASIC INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE LEAVING EARTH " !!!!
HOW CAN YOU LOOK AT PAST ISSUES AFTER THE NEW ONES GO LIVE ?
Persol 649's much look and fit better fit than 714'S due to the folding arms which are WACK anyway !
Them Killa Priest lyrics gotta b some of the best ever !

If you're browsing any section of the magazine, you'll see a link in the bottom left corner that says "archives"
Just click that guy and the world of h(y)r will be unleashed =)
damn, when I say this, I mean it, you outdid yourself in everything. From the layout (!!) to the people that contributed to the features to the shots from Paris. I mean, wow, really good issue. Best so far, well done.
I've mentioned this before, but I really like how you incoporate your private stuff into it as well (your favourite items of clothing this year etc).
Business of Blogging and your favourite items were definetly the standouts.
Well fucking done. Keep pushin' yourself.
great read.
really well put together too.
love the pics you did for the 'my fav things' spread.
and the bloggers interviews were good.
you killed the JJJ myth though, would have preferd to have just seen an X by his name. haha.
