Want: Engineered Garments Ground Pant

Now I think we can all agree that yes, these are overalls. And yes I do want them. It might be one of those odd items I have build up a bit of current fascination with and might not wear a ton, but part of me wants to make these happen. I think with some Redwings, W+H boots or Bean Boots, a white tee or button down and a fitting coat, it could be a fresh look. It would definitely be taking the work wear look to another level beyond denim and a flannel, and I think I want to take it there. I saw the pants in Paris at a shop called Bellerose. They had a small EG selection I'd hunted down, including the ground pant. They were definitely more expensive than they are at Montreal boutique, U&i. With a pretty reasonable sale price on them, I'm very tempted to give these a go. The weight of the pants would be great for fall through spring and the navy color would work with a lot...we'll see.

I think these overalls or something similar are indeed a good, fresh idea.

If by a fitted coat, you mean a casual blazer for what you'd wear them with, then I think it's an especially good idea.

the ONLY way you are permitted to wear these is with one strap down with a floppy, crushed velvet, polka-dot top hat and a Boyz II Men, Another Bad Creation, or Bell Biv Devoe cassette tape in the front pocket AT ALL TIMES.
