I saw this Sierra Designs parka over at A Continuous Lean today and pretty much am in love. Between the plaid lining, the navy color, perfect pockets and soft lighting and white background, I need this coat - or at least one really close to it. I have obviously been speaking on several parks in the last month or two and probably the nicest ones that released this winter were definitely modeled after this (by Haversack and HP+ and Traverse). It was mentioned that Engineered Garments had a similar one as well but I never came across it so I can't really comment. I do think Supreme's mountain parka is another good choice. Anyways, back to this Sierra Designs piece. It's great, it's what the rest are modeled after and if you can track one of these down, you're a lucky guy. Let the eBaying begin...

i vant i vant!
I have a similar one from EG, but it is a spring/summer jacket. I don't know if it is the one you have heard talk of. As it is a summerjacket it is unlined, so no tartan lining, but the pockets look the same and it has the same leather pieces on the straps.
It is a great jacket none the less, but it being EG it is of no surprise, I guess.

Penfield 'Kasson' is a great alternative. Super quality, not to expensive, not to difficult to get your hands on.
