INTERMEDIATES by Engineered Garments Twill Pant

It seems like The Bureau's long term relationship with Engineered Garments is paying off this fall as they've been able to bring in the Workaday collection and now they seem to be the only English speaking stockist for the Intermediates offering. I've only seen Intermediates in Japanese shops, so I'm not quite sure of the distinctions and differences from the other labels, however I know what they have in common - they're all great looking products I want. These heavy twill cotton chino pants have a wider straight leg shape and come in the perfect tone for a khaki pant. These are essential for me, I have a pair of RRL pants that are almost the same and I love them. The the cut of the pockets to the simple buttons, they are just an overall good pant.

These are very similiar to a pair of pants released by Uniqlo named 'Vintage Chino'. Although theirs were a hybrid of WW2 era chinos and WW2 (1944) 501s. They were a almost identical cut, with diagonally cut pockets and watch pocket, but they had a laurel wreath doughnut button, Universal brass zipper, and herringbone lining/pocket bags.
These things are now quite rare and sought-after (by me if no one else) and I own a pair. I'll be happy to fork out for a pair of EGs once mine have had their day but they show no sign of letting up yet, they're actually getting better and better with age.
One of the rare but well though out and high quality releases from Uniqlo.

I have the exact same Uniqlo pants. Which are, I think, one of only two things I have ever bought there other than cheap socks and pants.
I agree that they are almost identical, and in my opinion even have a slightly nicer coloring. Good call.
