Acne Pop Base Check Shirt

My outfits tend to get bogged down with the usual drab navy, grey and black colour combination in the fall. That's why I've been looking for garments with a little more colour in them. While Ryan loves his black watch plaid, I'm a huge fan of the tried and true black, white and red edition, in any style. Woolrich Woolen Mills made a great version of their Upland B.D. in a similarly coloured plaid but it's nowhere to be found in stores anymore. Acne's Pop Base Check Shirts on the other hand are just hitting stores and this colourway is perfect. The shirt is pretty thin as far as fall cotton shirts go but the fit is a good slim one that'd be a perfect first layer. One with a bit of colour poking through to add a bit of life to an otherwise dull fall palette like mine.

I own this shirt, it is absolutely brilliant. Soft, relaxed and well tailored. After I got this I actually went back to the store and got 3 more in other colors.

these are made in china and the quality is pretty bad.

i wish acne stuff was good. it looks good but just well feels crappy.

Yeah, Acne looks good, but the quality is often horrible. I bought some jeans that got a big hole on the side after a week, same happened to a friend of mine. Whyred is actually better quality, Swedish too and about the same price range.

I can't comment on the Acne shirt, but I agree with OP that the WWM version is a great shirt. There is something about the colours and the pattern that I dont know how to describe that works perfectly, and the construction is very high quality. I just got mine from Tres Bien Shop, they were very easy to deal with, and it came super fast. They still have every size except medium.
