Needles Quick-release Belts

needles quick release

The quick release belt has always been an interesting item since the day I laid my eyes on it. Needles have them within their wide collections each season and while they always look quite nice, it has never been an item I've lusted after. I usually find I can get my belts off in good time, so it would be purely for the aesthetic of the belt, rather than the actual quick release function. The shape of the buckle is really nice however, and I feel there aren't many better matches for a pair of EG or Orlsow fatigue pants. The Needles model may be tough to come by, but Tim Hardy also make some very nice looking versions of their own and they are apparently pleasant to order from.

Great belts! And, thanks for giving Tim Hardy some love. A great guy with a great product. Both of my QR belts are from him and they are top notch!

The Tim Hardy belts are exactly the same, cheaper, easier to get, and made to your size specifications. I got this from him in an email a while back when I asked him about their similarities.."Interestingly, Engineered Garments is I believe part of the Japanese Needles / Nepenthes set up who were among the first customers to take this belt from me when I had a bigger company which I folded post 9/11 and F.M.D. I believe a former member of my staff makes for them now as a wholesale manufacturer so the belt you first found there is pretty much exactly the same."

Thanks for the compliments on the QR belt and new belt designs are coming through for the Spring. Keep up the great research and comments. Happy New Year.
