One of Visvim's most refined pieces is their Academia coat. Made with Harris Tweed from the UK, lined with GORE Windstopper and finished with black buttons, perfect pocketing and in nice colours – it's a very wearable investment. The subtle blue pattern on the grey tweed is a nice touch and makes the jacket a little more fun to dress up with a striped shirt or plaid flannel. The lapel shape appears to have been refined a little since last fall - in a good way - and I'm always a fan of the elbow patch on a sport coat. This one is just in at Slam Jam, but there are likely more versions at F.I.L. locations in Japan.

Ryan - this looks fantastic. Do you know who else is producing tweed or cord jackets with a technical twist to them?
I have this jacket. I highly recommend it. The tweed is really fantastic.
The gore tex really is a plus. You can wear it even with a tee shirt outside.
Slim cut. Watch out for those extra kilos. I had to loose a few to have that perfect fit.
@ alex. Check out sophnet for other technical tweed.
@ alex: Mallory Jacket by Cabourn. Or Sophnet, but good luck finding their wool blazer somewhere
Hey I just wanted to let you know, I actually like the writing on your site. But I am utilising Flock on a machine running version 9.04 of Crashbang Ubuntu and the look and feel aren't quite satisfactory. Not a strong deal, I can still basically read the articles and research for information, but just wanted to inform you about that. The navigation bar is kind of hard to use with the config I'm running. Keep up the superb work!
