Since I'm spending most of my hours in front of a computer this week, and for the rest of the year, it's always good to be cozy and comfortable for the long days. For some people that might mean bring out the sweats, but I'm probably more comfortable in a great pair of chinos and a chambray. If I'm not going to wear a jacket and opt for a nice piece of knitwear for my exterior layer, I might wear two shirts underneath to stay warm, and to add a nice contrast in materials. The tab collar shirt by EG is high on my list right now and the Woolen Mills Cruiser shirt is a recognized winner. The Blue Seal chinos by The Real McCoys are a recent acquisition and definitely feel like they can stand through a winter or two – incredible quality, made in Japan. Red Wing oxfords, Inverallan cap and SNS Herning cardigan all seem to make sense to me as well. It's not overly excited, forward thinking or mind blowing, but its comfortable and looks great.

When are you gonna drop that Inverallan stocking-cap collabo in your shop? I'm on the edge of my seat...
Those RW oxfords from Japan?
layering 2 plaid shirts (cotton and flannel) ? yes or no ?
definitely been rocking a solid gray flannel over another button-up on chillier days.
also loving those rw oxfords. they need to offer them stateside!
I'm still not sold on the RW Oxfords, but everything else looks great. Sometimes a fit doesn't need to be too excited or mind blowing to make a great statement.
I like those Red Wing oxfords but the Weinbrenner X Beams shoes posted recently are the shoes I really wish Japan would let me have.
I'm pretty much wearing this exact combination, minus about eight hundred dollars that is, comfy as can be.

can't agree with t.scoop more. this post has me debating navy or red. can't find a quality red anywhere else, yet navy is easily attainable.
I'm afraid it's going to be an easier choice than we expected. We had kept the red caps limited and have received a slew of pre-orders...that said, its not looking like there are too many reds left if everyone pre-pays on time...
Navy Caps and Inverallan cardigans arriving next week though!

why not wear a henley under the chambray instead of another collared shirt?
H, wearing a henley under a chambray as I type this, definitely more my thing.
