Filson has a couple of web exclusive products up right now in my favorite color of the season - navy blue. This shelter cloth bomber reminds me a little of the EG Wing jacket, in terms of the shape. It's one of the Engineered Garments pieces I've never got overly excited about, but often tried on and still thought highly of it. Filson's short bomber however is just a bit more casual and easy going, or at least it feels that way to me. I like the pockets and the waist band and how the jacket might could offer an interesting layer on top of something a little longer. If you were to wear a light colored Baker perhaps, the lengths could work well in the fall. If not, it's an afford layer at $109, that will look good any time of year.

Seriously, this jacket is such a heartbreaker - been on sale forever, only in L and XL! Love that navy, wish they continued to offer it.
You have no excuse to wear Filson.
@ Ulysses: Agreed. Nothing quite like well, responsibly made, reasonably priced, timeless, unfussy, understated clothing to get my blood boiling.
Ya, no kidding.
I wouldn't dare wear Filson, it would last too long and just look plain and good.
But don't they fit like potato sacks ? Wide arm openings and bulky fit ? The bags are great but it's hard to wear a brand that's designed for those who aren't interested in fits
Love the jacket, international shipping rate... not so much.
Wish the collar was a bomber style collar. I really love the pockets.
@James: I think it used to be this way, but they must've gotten better. I recently got their lined rancher jacket - a proper cowboy jacket - and, while the shoulders are a bit square, it fits quite perfectly. I wouldn't write them off.
Diapers are just one small part of the whole picture. A book called the Consumer’s Guide to Effective Environmental Choices has some really good info on the broader picture, even though it’s a little older
