Apartamento Issue #04

DSC_4812

Apartamento has become a well respected and sought after title in a fairly short period of time. The convenient size and beautiful photography are enough to make it an easy pick up — if you can find it. I really find the aesthetic of the magazine and everyday interiors striking a chord each time I flip through the pages. The magazine has a beautiful casual feeling to it, like the subjects and spaces featured inside. Omar Sosa does a nice job with the art direction and design. With a welcoming European feel, the magazine makes me want to slow down a little bit and enjoy my surroundings. The content is usually nice to read and interesting even to someone like myself with little knowledge of furniture design and culture.

Where to get?

@Brian... I have definitely seen this in Toronto, but I am having trouble remembering where. I would try Book City on Bloor or This Ain't the Rosedale Library in Kensington. You could also try Swipe on Richmond (in the 401 Richmond building). I will have a look for it when I am out around town on Thursday.

Top 5 current publications for sure. If you can't find it locally they now offer international ordering online. Get it if you can. ALWAYS amazing.
