I actually wrote about Jody's work back on h(y)r collective, but she's recently updated with a new website and some new work that is worth another mention. Jody is from Vancouver but has been living in Brooklyn, NY for the last couple years. Her work has an incredibly comfortable feel to it and brings out a natural power in the subjects. Her blog is filled with beautiful Polaroid snaps of outtakes, friends and unique spots in her surroundings – its enough to make me want to get a Polaroid camera. She's shot for Monocle, Corduroy, hobo, Selector and i-D. Recently she worked on a series of portraits for an article titled "The American Man" which featured Scott Sternberg, Robert Geller, Patrick Ervell and other influential menswear designers. Her work is more than worth a browse and likely worth a hire if you need some photographs taken.

Do you know what Magazine This article is featured in?
What mag is the article published in?
I am pretty sure that's the new Fantastic Man that I keep checking the shelves for...those shots are enough to make me want to get a Hasselblad!
I'm actually not sure what publication its from. I think it might be called "City" but I know its not FM.

Really great imagery. Having seen that editorial feature with the designers, I have to say American sportswear is bringing a raw soul back to menswear. Through those eyes above and done meticulously well.
