A.P.C. isn't generally known for their technical outwear or cold weather goods, but this fall they've put out a pretty great looking down jacket. I still might be hesitant to put all my eggs in one basket with A.P.C.'s outwear for a winter. But if you are going for the puffa look, there aren't many better looking options. I love the combination of the tan and brown leather. The front pockets, snap buttons and removable hood are all positive marks, but it's the not over the top puff action that makes the jacket the most appealing. Whether you're trekking around downtown New York or catching a late season run on the mountain, A.P.C. have done well with this fall's outerwear and this is my favorite of the season.

Kinda reminds me of penfield. Plus, I'm not sure how well this jacket will withstand the elements. Is it even coated, particularly since it's 100% cotton?
The new gray cashmere puffer from Club Monaco is also a good alternative for a fraction of the price. Men in the USA should check 'em out.
the grey puffer at club monaco is actually wool and is $330 while the navy one is round $800 and cashmere.
