The STARK cardigan was first issued by S.N.S. Herning in 1971 and is still one of the companies best selling pieces. It's weight, fit and unique feel all contribute to it be one of the best sweaters you could buy. Made on the old German machines Soren Skyt imported to Demark years ago, the intriquette patterns, metal buttons and high collar have stood up to many winters past and will continue to be one of the brand's most sought after pieces. This fall the Olde Blue colour was introduced in very limited numbers to select retailers and we were fortunate enough to get our hands on the sweater in this great blue shade. The first round sold out very quickly and I didn't even get one for myself, this time I'm not making the same mistake, hopefully you don't either.

5'11, 170, 40R....what size do you recommend? thanks!
John - I would say that you could go with a medium. The length and fit overall will be good. I'm a bit bigger and I got a large - although I could have got a medium I think.
John, I'd do a large, especially if you're planning on layering this. I'm smaller than you and a medium just about fits.
I'm 6'4 and 210 and I got a large and it's not particularly tight.
i'm looking to maybe wear an oxford or henley underneath...also would like to wear this under a jacket or wear as a light jacket itself. im in sf, so its not quite danish temperatures. thanks!
Well, unfortunately our larges are sold out already now, but I do think that the medium would be the right size for you. SNS have a fairly slim fit, so from my experience, if the length on sleeves and body is right, if you need it to give out in any areas, it will be quite forgiving.
