Our Legacy Bomber Sweater

our leg knit

Our Legacy has a great knack for finding wools that I'm in love with, ones with a bit of speckle in them for extra character. This round neck sweater is a perfect example. The flecks of beige and light brown give the piece a great textured feel and offers a nice depth when worn in an outfit. An off white or natural crew neck is hard enough to find as it is too so this colour is even more appealing. The nice medium weight of the knit means it can be worn in all four seasons and the cut isn't slim nor baggy but just right. It can be worn on it's own but I find that the ever so oversized neckhole lends itself better for a collared shirt of some sort, I'm thinking a red or even burnt orange oxford. Either way, I think I could probably find a way to wear it three or four times a week which can't be a bad thing.

The flecked wool along with the collar make this sweater stand out. I'm still upset that I missed a great Our Legacy sweater from their most recent S/S collection.

I am trying to phase out of an all grey warddrobe with pieces like this, and navy. Thanks.

I have this sweater and it's great, but definitely not a piece that can be worn in all four seasons. It is really heavy and warm and best suited for fall/winter. I have even found myself wearing it almost like an outerwear piece, over a blue chambray or a flannel with some reds and browns in it.

It is a good looking sweater, but as I remember this is a wool/polyester blend? Correct me if I remember wrong.

Not a great color in my opinion, to pale. The Camel V-Neck Alpaca is better. A hint of brown is needed.

I swear I've been searching high and low for this. I have this page bookmarked to remind myself to keep looking. If anyone out there has any similar recommendations for a flecked oatmeal knit, let me know. Please. Or if they're willing to sell this particular piece it'd be even better!
