I saw the bad preview photo's of Visvim's Paris showroom last week like everyone else, but now thanks to glltn, we get to see all of it much better. As impressed I am with what looks like Visvim's biggest and most comprehensive collection yet, it's the actual room which is even more impressive. Perhaps it's unsurprising coming from Visvim but everything looks great. The space, the lighting, the white shoe pillars and glass clothing racks, the grass, candles and flowers: all perfect. As for the line, it looks good too, although its much more of the usual; Lots of leather and gore-tex outerwear, plaid shirts, striped tees and very strong footwear and accessories. From what I can see in these photo's, the clothes I'd like to see more of are the polos, denim and sweaters. As for accessories and shoes, the duffle bags look amazing, as do the mustard looking leather Kiefers. See the showroom below.

too fresh. i want it all
Why can't we enlarge the photos anymore?
this seems to reinforce the point you made earlier about how styling goes such a long way...
No wonder Visvim prices have gone up. Is all their collection now made in France instead of Korea?
I don't know why people go nuts for the company. Their stuff looks downright weird 90% of the time. Plus, they are extremely expensive. I honestly would not accept more than half the things they make even if someone offered them to me for free. Or maybe I would, and then I would sell that bullshit and buy shoes and clothes that actually look appealing and well-made.
I have to say, I respect Visvim for trying to be somewhat of an innovative company. I am always a fan of the classics, so when I see them take something like a deck shoe and put their own spin on it, I just become disappointed. They are nothing but hype. I applaud their efforts but look down upon most of their executions. The only pieces I have seen that appear decent are the saddle oxfords and the supreme x visvim boots. However, both are completely overpriced.
heads up, guillotine's site says that visvim asked them to take the pictures down
