Supreme SS09

supreme-ss0932Most people have probably seen a lot of the Supreme spring line, but I figured I'd mention a couple of my favorite items. The brand will always be pretty cool, as I've mentioned, so a little branding never really hurts. The heathered sport T shirts are probably my favorites, and I fully intend on getting one or two. The colors of the blue and soft red are perfect. They remind me of  a cop training shirt or something. Whatever the case, great for wearing all the time. I also quite like the stripped hoody and spring parka. The baseball jacket is a bit more on the loud side, but I can't help liking it. Whether I would get much wear out of it or not these days is another thing. Again, Supreme's collection doesn't blow minds, but they have done a great job tweaking some classic pieces in their New York way and are offering a solid collection of affordable, well made, good looking clothing.

That is more than a little branding, and is totally unnecessary. They should leave the 'walking billlboard' look to ed hardy. :/

absolutely hideous

this is what duffer did to their brand, and look were it is now

I don't think people in North America know what Duffer is...But it's not the same.

Supreme have been doing this, and versions of the same for 10+ years. They aren't doing anything with their brand that is going to wreck it. I would say they have been one of the most true brands to what their vision is, probably in the whole market.

^ completely agree.

I think the line looks pretty good. As greenjeans said, cant really beat classics and they have been following the same blueprint with many improvements for years now...

Supreme is known for branding.
And there known for being consistent
with there own vision. Adding their own
twist to already widely used products.
Not a bad collection. I'd say 1/2 of it is
solid.

love it or hate it. Supreme is gonna do Supreme. Duffer doesn't have an ounce the cache with clientele be it stateside or abroad, that Supreme does. They aren't doing anything different than they ever have really. Like Joseph said, they're about branding. Maybe they're evolving a bit as the canvas plimsols, or whatever they are, caught me by surprise.

Anyways, I like a lot of it. And I appreciate the fact that they put out solid products without trying to reinvent the wheel.
