Sunny Sports Chambray

sunnysports-chambryHere's another good looking option for a chambray work shirt. I am still looking for one of my own, and I am on the fence between this and Engineered Garments. I quite like the pocket detailing, but I have a chambray shirt in nearly the same color of this one, but it's in a western style. As a couple readers mentioned after the last chambray work shirt was posted, these are really ideal for wearing a couple times a week. You can wear them with so much, they are comfortable and casual, but you really won't find too many people wearing them around - it's easy. I think that's what most of us are looking for in men's clothing. So the light weight chambray work shirt might be at the top of the list of spring essentials...find out in Issue 11.

Ya, but I would rather buy something of better quality and have it for a couple years rather than buy it from OU. I don't think they are great for items you plan on keeping and wearing regularly.

The thing with EG is they aren't really supposed to 'fit' so you have to go into that knowing it. That being said, this spring, they have slimed down the fits on a number of items.

Everybody has a Chambray shirt right now.

Chambrays are popping up everywhere. I've had the J Crew version for a year and change now, and to be honest it's hard to beat. Good colour, fabric, and shape. It's lasted well too.

I actually have 2, just for rotation purposes.

Shit looks golden under a thick flannel work shirt for the winter.

Anyway I do like the EG one though, but that's probably just because I like the brand as a whole, and the one posted here is a sick colour. I've wanted more of a grey tone one for a while now...

I find EG does fit, but it's not the tailored fit a lot of people are looking for or expecting. So you have to be comfortable accepting the way their collection fits.

I am also a bit of a sucker for a brand. There are only a handful that I kind of fall for, and I'm sure you could guess what they are from the tag cloud on the blog...

A lot of people do have a chambray shirt, but at least what I've seen, there aren't that many people with good chambray's and wearing them that nicely.

This is a great shirt. I really like the styling details as well as the color of the fabric.
Um, why does all the good stuff have to be in Japan? I checked out the urban outfitters one and it just looks like it came from there... Pay to much for cheep quality.
