While we just saw a pretty great pair of Band of Outsiders shorts recommended by South Willard on the Spring Buyers guide, here is another pair of nice and expensive shorts by the LA based label. Shorts are hard for me to get too excited about any time of the year and it seems good shorts are not easy to come by. From what I've seen, Band of Outsiders seems to have a good understanding of the proper length of a short and how it should be worn, and of course look. However spending $250 on shorts is something I would probably don't have to do, in these times especially. I don't wear shorts super often so I am personally okay with Club Monaco's selection for about $50-70. On the other side, Band of Outsiders are going to offer a refined fit, possibly better materials and definitely nicer patterns, color palettes and details like the cuffed bottom. Not to say you can't find this else where for make it happen yourself, but if Band of Outsider's looks and pieces are inspired the look you're trying to pull together, they must be doing something right.

I know that H&M are going to release some nice pairs of shorts this spring.
The traditional length for shorts has always been 1-2" above the knee. I think the problem is that with height, sometimes shorts hit mid-thigh. Altho its a pretty popular look in Los Angeles in the summer.
i'd rock those shorts with a good pair of sneakers. but yeah, a bill is a lot to drop on shorts....
I am probably one of the only one's out there who just do not get excited about spring/summer. I just love to wear layers and I HATE being hot... $150!!? What did they do with the rest of the pant? That is a little pricey for shorts for sure. Love the brand though. They do make some good products.
No
Haha, shorts are nice but 250 $, they must think people are suckers.
FAIL ! ! !
Two Point Answer;
1) People are in general 'suckers'
2) You ARE NOT the only one who doesn't get excited by spring/summer clothing. Fal/Winter is by far more exciting, fun and interesting. It's the best, unfortunately it also brings coldness, uncomfort and a restriction on footwear options.
Fall is the best time to get dressed.
pleated shorts are pretty much for the ladies ONLY
sorry, not pleated but cuffed
Lord have mercy!
didnt pinnochio wear this outfit in the walt disney movie ?
EPIC FAIL
YAWN$$$.
