Wow, this looks good to me. The colors are completely boring, all of the classic styles have no new angle or twists and even the model is old and has a huge beard. I was a bit sad to find that the model wasn't actually Umit Benan after Mens.style.com used such a good bearded metaphor on the blog post. This is pretty close to my idea wardrobe I'd say. The nice subtle patterns, greys, blues, worn oxfords and washed out denim with nice boots and casual looking sport coats. If the garments are as nice on the inside as they say, (a good beard?) then I am of course expecting a high price tag. But I am also expecting a great collection. I really don't see anything I don't like from this selection of Umit Benan's fall looks. I don't even mind the leg warmers because I assume it's going to be cold next winter and those will go under another pair of pants. I'll be curious to hear where the collection will be available because I want all of it.

Great post. Thanks for turning me on to this designer/collection. Like you I want everything from this collection. I wish I could pull off a beard. It's amazing how
the right model can really enhance the presence and feeling of a collection such as this one.
This might be the best thing you've posted to date--thank you, men.
I totally agree. This kind of palette is so refreshing. So is the simple construction and attention to detail. A lot of times it seems as if mens wear gets taken to silliness...this is back to classic good lines

How much did the old fella get paid to be humiliated? Hope it was worth it.
hey dummies...
that is the designer!!
Awesome clothes
Saks Fifth Ave will be carrying Umit's line in NYC and Chicago for Fall 09. The line is incredible!
nope. that's definitely not the designer.
Collection over priced and too bad that the designer is the most obnoxious arrogant person you will ever meet.
He's cool. His clothes very stylish with classic sillouhettes and form. Not to mention the fabrication...dope.
