Had to post this fly eBay find for all of the folks out there that have had enough of the work wear/Americana heritage movement. I know you've been getting a good dose the last year, but I just haven't had enough myself. Although if I picked up this nice Woolrich Woolen Mills suit I might reach my capacity. To be honest as it sits at a price of $10, I am thinking of buying it just for the pants. The elastic bottoms with knee patches could translate into something pretty cool - if not something to wear while looking for firewood. I have almost heard enough people saying how trendy work boots or clothing is. The same commentary happens every time a 'trend' happens. I just so happen to love this 'trend' and will continue to embrace it with open arms. Enjoy.Red & Black Woolrich Woolen Mills pants and jacket outfit

I hear you on the whole 'such and such is a trend thing'...I feel like part of it is just so sometimes we can say 'I was into this way before it was actually a trend'....
sometimes you can beat the classic lines that workwear offers...plus you know it won't rip
I think sometimes a 'streetwear' mentality seems to be applied to these brands. That industry is founded on acquiring the latest items to stay ahead of the pack. I don't think we should view these things in the same way.
Classic brands have experienced an increase in popularity but that doesn't affect my love for their heritage and functionality. I think 'trendy' is a state of mind. If an item is in vogue and you don't want to wear it, fair enough but that doesn't mean it becomes obsolete.
I'm glad you'll "continue to embrace" the things you like. It's always been a very personal site and the gradual evolution in what you write about maintains integrity. No sudden changes please!
The matching plaid pants and jacket are sometimes called a Pennsylvania Tuxedo. Very hip in deer hunting country.
Regardless if this is trendy or not, or if you like woolrich or not, or if you love or hate red/black plaid, no one should ever be caught dead in that collar. period.
