On the heels of the first spring drops and an interesting debate about Visvim's brand image and financing, I came across my second favorite item I've seen for the coming season. The Nomad Paclite is one of the nicest lightweight coats for sale on planet Earth. I particularly love the color blocking added to this piece, even more than the button down shirts. While there is no denying somebody is making money off these $1300 jackets - it won't be from me. I would probably purchase one of these if I was in a position to, the quality and aesthetic are high on my rating system. As a couple readers pointed out recently, there is some high quality production coming from China, so no matter where Visvim's products are produced, I wouldn't expect any drop in what you're paying for. However, every individual places there own value on certain items and there is probably a lower percentage that would put over a G on one of these. My point is they look great, whether you think its worth the money or not.

It's a NOMAD Paclite - BECAUSE IT'S PACKABLE - it packs into the sleeve pocket.
*tsk*tsk*
only 76,000YEN, thats still big bucks. think its even more expensive then last seasons one.
and in this current economic climate i dont think many will be clambering to buy. that said if you've got the means to pay, you'll pay....
i think paclite refers to gore tex paclite....
I agree those jackets look absolutely incredible. They would most definitely be one of the top jackets I would love to have if I was ready to drop that ridiculous amount of money. They are dope tho. I like all the colors, especially the khaki and olive in my opinion...I think.
you ever owned any visvim ryan or seen it in person ?
I have 4 pairs of Visvim shoes, a coach jacket and a l/s light sweater. I've seen it in Goodfoot, Colette, Goods and Union. Unfortunately I haven't picked up anything since the birth of the Folk line, but I'm sure that will change. And I would really like to see it in its home state of a FIL store.
