Tres Bien have just received the fall footwear offering from A.P.C. and it’s well worth a look. There are three pairs in store but I couldn’t put the other ones on this website. The ankle boot comes in a dark brown suede and is lined with a warm cream coloured sheepskin. The crepe sole is a nice touch on the seasonal low cut shoes, but it’s definitely the work boot I’m more interested in. With an obvious Alden reference, these vegetable tanned, leather soled boots really do look beautiful. The shade of brown is perfect and it combines really well with the metal hardware, nice height and great looking sole. I'd probably rather buy the Alden Indy boot for less money and a more authentic product but A.P.C. has still done an excellent job with their nod to the American classic.

Can you define a crepe sole? See this term thrown about but never really learned what it is!
you heard of google ben
that alden boot is making a comeback
nah, whats that?
like the work boot, but...am more a fan of the 3rd tres bien option not pictured here.
Get the original
the original indy isnt even original anymore...all over blogs/forums...i like the look of it but wouldnt get it for that reason...
the bottom pair are rad. would look better with out the toe stitching though
just because it's on blogs keeps it from being original? fill me in. By that logic you can't buy anything that's on a blog
I dig the Indy boot and APC's version of it. There's enough of a difference in the subtleties to make the APC worth considering.
