Dale of Norway Knits

I've never met anyone from Norway myself but people say that Norwegians are always so nice and happy and bubbly. Now I know why; because the best Nordic patterned sweaters are made in most of their proverbial backyards in the tiny town of Dale. By no means am I writing off marled wool or cable knits here, but the snowflake adorned pattern sweater could be working it's way onto the must have list for fall. It might even be, dare I say it, on the verge of trending. Considering they've been around since 1879, Dale of Norway is the de facto inventor of the pattern so you might as well go for the authentic. The Setesdal patterned vest is basically perfection but I wish it were a full cardigan. My other favourite is their 130th Anniversary knit which is a re-creation of the sweater that was first produced for the 1956 Norwegian Olympic team. Two historic knits that remain relevant today and could be easily incorporated into most wardrobes.

I am diggin' patterned crewnecks with the sailor style side buttoned collars also helps getting em' on/off without stretching the collar.
I'm a sucker for any patterned sweater. The vest is awesome.
@Jack button shoulder sweaters are great but I think they work better with horizontal stripes or things might get a little too busy...
The 130th Anni sweater shown has a slightly bigger neck opening though which is a nice detail.
Nice sweaters. I have no idea how to wear them, however. Jeans and boots?
AT Michael; I would go well with all of the mandatory EG pieces...
In my opinion Norsk Husflid is better. At least that is my experience. But that red sweater is seriously nice.
