Steven Alan has really stepped up his collection this fall and the Vintage Hiking Jacket is a pretty good example. The 60/40 parka comes in three great colors - I like the green - and has all of the bells and whistles we’re looking for. It’s made in the USA, has nice leather accents on the zipper pulls, great pocketing, a nice collar and is topped off with a Woolrich lining to keep you warm. The design is nicely stripped down and the whole thing looks great. This could easily be the only jacket you buy this fall and you could probably get away with it.

a word to the wise, size DOWN on this. i normally wear a large in most "american" brands (j crew, gap, etc) and an xl for ones with a more refined silhouette. i tried this jacket on in a medium last week and it was still a little roomy...

450?! and no khaki color? ouch
such a rip off, just get a similar themed real "vintage" jacket off ebay or something
Nice looking jacket, and just like Ryan said, it's got all the right details as far as I can tell.
On a side-note, (not to hi-jack this comments section) but I'm going to be in Vancouver for the next couple days. I know h(y)r is based out of there so I'm wondering if you guys could give me any heads up good shops to visit, or really, just anything worth seeing while I'm in town. Thanks!
