Hopefully you read Ryan’s report on Viberg in the 24th issue of Monocle. They’re one of the finest and most respected boot companies in the world and have been handcrafting their iconic footwear in Canada since 1931. While not in any way a fashion brand, they’re still happy to work with others on more contemporary products. The Bobcat is great in isolation but in collaboration with Neighborhood, an even more beautiful boot has been created. I always like multi-tone footwear and these are a perfect example of how well it can work. Combining different shades of leather and suede may seem simple enough but as I’ve mentioned before, exercising control in collaboration always produces the best results. Neighborhood’s boot updates a classic but still keeps Viberg’s heritage in mind and when working with anything traditional that’s never a bad thing.

great boots. wondering about the retail.
@ Jack... They haven't been released yet. They're due out in September - I don't know the exact date. However, they won't be cheap. Last winter, NBHD did an Engineer Boot with Viberg and that was 101850 Yen!
Superdenim have the Bobcat from Viberg's Japanese Collection for £265.
If you're in North America, click the Viberg link in the post and see if you like any of their standard offerings.
those look amazing...
I've been trying to find these Viberg boots for a while: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_qjpwnPW4c1o/SSLXj5SncwI/AAAAAAAAEZk/M40PbDcBUu0/s1600-h/GQDecBootsSuitWeb1.jpg
@ davidH... Did you click the Viberg link in the post?
I'd say that boot is a version of the Ironworker found in the Work and Safety sections. The green triangle on the side is included if you get a pair with a CSA Safety Toe.
There definitely is a strong resemblance. Thanks for the tip. I'll have to check these out.
Very nice...
