I'm never one to get overly excited about plaid flannel shirts but there is something about the Weldon shirt this fall by Engineered Garments that struck a cord. I find that I often wear a flannel as more of an over shirt and this particular model lends itself to that layering and shirt/jacket use really nicely. The lower pockets and larger buttons both contribute to the aesthetic while the straight cut scalloping definitely makes it feel that way. The plaid is always a safe option for flannel in the fall but it's an elusive grey in the Weldon that I have only seen in foreign online shops. Surprising right? Either way, it's a great item to have and if you're considering a flannel work shirt, I might suggest rethinking and going with the over shirt instead for a good bit of layering.

Oversized buttons and lower pockets make the shirt.
From the fit pics and measurements that I have seen of this shirt it appears like it is quite short. So no good for me :(
Nice shirt, should be button down though, easier to wear with a sweater on top this time of the year
Looks like a great shirt! I prefer the solid gray to the plaid though. The color combo on the plaid doesn't really do it for me. With the rain/snow I encountered today, I am wanting to add even more layers to my wardrobe.
I like the flannel as an overshirt-love the Filson shirt-jacs and what not. The grey is wear it's at!
