I was browsing through a lot of Visvim's fall collection online the last couple days. Picking out a couple items is really tough as it is so deep. The brand has grown so much in the last few collections. I personally appreciate and love a lot more of their soft goods now over much of their footwear. Beyond their technical outwear, the knits, denim, cottons shirts, oxfords and chinos are among some of the best. There is a lot more versatility now and you can put together some great looks without going outside of the collection. An on-going debate in the HQ is if you could only pick 3 brands to wear forever, which would they be? Feel free to answer with yours, but one of mine is definitely Visvim - without hesitation. After browsing the collection, here is just one casual look I put together that I know I could get a lot of wear from. Simple layers, plain colors and essentials on their own, the use of texture, materials and comfort is what make the brand so special to me.

the last one was the hardest, tbh, I could just get away with RRL and Visvim and I'd be alright. There are a bunch of smaller brands doing less that I could substitute, but APC makes a nice spread of different types of gear.

@ wayne pate - Awesome. Your 3 suggestions made me laugh but for clothes I could wear all my life you're more on point than most these people. Just got back from Tokyo, must have gone to at least 8 45rpm stores including the main store which is a house. So amazing. A must see if you're ever in Tokyo.
You don't wanna be the 50 year old wearing Visvim. I was in the FIL Tokyo store a few days ago and this 50 something British nerd probably bought $5000 worth of clothes and shoes. I was pretty amazed at how much my view of the brand diminished.
On the other hand, a 50 year old dropping that much in 45rpm would just be normal not tacky.

@Al- I'm glad you got the humor in my choices but it's exactly how I feel. It's really the umii collection that really does it for me. In regards to Visvim I believe
a man 40 + which I am, should wear Visvim sparingly. For me these days I wear
Visvim border tees, border crews, Logan Deck Lo's and that's it. End of story. It's a slippery slope when your an older guy and your trying to dress appropriately for your age and not wanting to let go of your youth. The key to that success is having the wisdom to guide you.
My picks would be
Junya
Visvim
Lanvin
eg / woolrich woolen mills
LEVIS / Eternal
Visvim / Sophnet
