Ryan Willms Mos Def and Talib Kweli have always been one of my favorite pairs in music. They've held their own in their solo careers but something special always comes out of these two sharing the mic. Mos Def has particularly been doing some really good work these days with his latest album, The Estatic, and his contributions to the Blakroc album. Besides that he seems to be steadily working alongside DJ Ski on the 24 Hour Karate School LP which I am quite excited about as well. The video for History was shoot by Coodie & Chike and it's an excellent display of how something great can be done for almost no cost. A simple concept, some great music and some nice treatment is all you need, plus a James Yancy beat, and you've got music magic.
