Interview: Yuki Matsuda

In the last couple months Hypebeast's Eugene Kan has put together a couple nice interviews with Ian Paley and Yuki Matsuda. For those who've picked up a copy of Inventory magazine, you might be familiar with Yuketen and it's designer - either way the interview is worth the read and the photos are worth a look. Yuketen is one of the most unique brands I've ever come across. The passion and care involved in the product is really special to see and to hear Yuki and Ryan speak about. With a focus on old methods of hand-sewing and production and a forward thinking approach to design, Yuketen has become a world class leader with their footwear while growing a strong soft goods collection in Monitaly. We're especially excited to work with Yuketen as a shop this spring. Our first order should be ready around the end of February/early March in the Inventory Stockroom.

Some of the nicest, down to earth guys ever. Was amazing to see their stuff in New York. Their guide boots are in my wishlist for sure.
