Look | Running Around

Look - Running around

It feels like we've been doing a lot of running around these days. Whether it's to the post office, furniture stores, showrooms or wherever else, comfort is key for the long days. It starts with footwear for me because when my feet are happy, I'm usually happy (and not in pain). The shoes also set the tone for the rest of your ensemble a lot of the time. There's nothing ground breaking in this outfit, but I've been sporting variations of the same thing all week long. Any number of chambrays, colours of corduroy or olive coloured jackets seems to work just fine.

Oh c'mon ...why not identify, say, the jacket and shirt brands? That can't take much effort. At least start with those things. It really grates when you don't even name the brands you're showcasing. What's the thinking there?

Post O chambray, Workaday cords, not sure on the jacket but it's nice. Some great colours here, love the cords and the chambray.

@Nigel... Mackered identified the shirt and cords for you. The M65 is by The Real McCoy's and is available from Superdenim...

The knit cap is Joe McCoy, t-shirt by Hanes, tote by Wm.J.Mills, and the trainers are New Balance 993s.

Hope that helps.

Runners with this type of look really works... I particularly like a Nike Free 5.0 in black.

I have a vintage M-65 myself that I've been wearing with my Gitman for Inventory chambray nearly every day that it's cold enough; it's a great look.

I started a blog btw: http://thebengalstripe.blogspot.com/

That jacket would look great with the camera slung over top with a leather strap.

Nice to see a watch show up in your posts, too.

Thanks to everyone for filling in the pieces. I decided to just leave them out this time and let people figure it out. The Submariner watch has definitely been on my mind more lately and I do need a leather strap for my camera, good suggestion.

Silly is right. I am sure there are some very nice Leicas in Japan kitted with those, though.

You can find bins full of old leather straps and camera bags at the Burnaby camera swap in April.

These are great straps for the money...

eh... I think it works better without the names of the brands. Helps with letting you guys apply Ryans selection without being too specific about the products... many of which you wouldn't be able to find in your city anyways...

I think in some ways no brand is better. My idea of fashion is being creative and putting your own look together. Of course it is necessary to learn by mimicking, but if you just model your outfits completely on what some well know fashion blogger posts, you're somewhat defeating the purpose.
