The latest edition to Albam's outwear offering is their spring Explorer Jacket. The English brands continues to update and upgrade their fabrics as they refine their products and production. The Explorer jacket is a very simple looking jacket but the stripped down details and fabric choices make it extremely appealing. The outer is made from a cotton canvas and is coated in Teflon to help with spring showers. The mid-weight jacket appears to be just right all around as it's not too heavy that you can't wear it in the winter but it's light enough that you could wear it deep into the spring season. It comes in black and navy and has been outfitted in 2-way RiRi zippers to top it off. I'm always a sucker for navy, so that would definitely be my choice for this piece.

"simplicity at its finest" is my middle name.
Nice cut and details but Albam should have gone with a wax coating instead; Teflon is definitely not a substance I want against my skin.
Sorry to be a pedant but if it's a coating, it shouldn't be against your skin!
In defense of Teflon, it's lighter and much more breathable than wax, although it doesn't look as cool.
it looks great, it could be done in wax but it would be a different item, a true wax, is smelly, dirty, needs a heavy lining to stop the wax coming though, a contrast on areas which touches the body. A friend did a all wax coat 20 years when l was on a placement, a fantastic floor length fishermans coat and got alot of them returned plus cleaning bill, for damages against white shirts.. Love Wax, but its a different beast.. if the designer wanted a lightweight cotton with Teflon... job done.. lifes to short.
Sorry .. for going on.. its the beer at lunch time...
I've seen it in the London store, it looks really good on.
clean, trim, understated - very nice.
