I couldn't help but post more Sassafras this week as some of their spring shirting just arrived at the Utility Coop. Fortunately, it's easy to check out of this Japanese website with an email to the shop, so it's not that far out of reach. The Feel Sun Shirt is back again along with a handful of other great looking pieces. Plaids, micro corduroy, cotton oxford and a nylon/cotton mix make up most of the delivery in a couple favorable styles. I personally love the long front pockets on the Fee Sun Shirt as I think it offers something you really don't see from another brand. While at glance the Sassasfras shirts appear to be simple enough, the construction, pocket detailing and fabrics definitely set them apart from other brands.

I didn't really like the look of the longer pocketing until I got an EG Work Shirt...Definitely changed my thoughts.
These patterns are pretty cool though. The pocketing on the sides is interesting as well, I don't think I've ever seen any shirts like that before.
If anyone knows a way to get, or a place to track down, the original Fee Sun Shirt in Chambray and a medium let me know! Love the pocket details, but not so sure about the fabric/pattern on this version.
I'll be in japan in 10 days if anyone needs some pick ups.
I need some 45rpm.
great details here. thanks for sharing.
Michael-Sean: Are you in Japan now, and do you read this? If so could you help me pick up one of the sassafras shirts from this post, the red one? Would be great!
