It's probably one of the most expensive shirts I've blogged about, but it's also one of the nicest. I decided to keep one for myself while trying it on and taking measurements today, so there is one less available now. The mix of cotton and linen, navy gingham and contrast patches and a great fit was too much to deny. The fabric feels great and the tones go well with a lot of the items I already have. The Medical shirt has changed since it's original appearance in the Cabourn collection, but I would have a hard time imagining it's changed for the worse, however our London director would be the one to ask. The fit is surprisingly good for a Japan-made item as well. The sleeves and shoulders fit great and the length is quite nice as well. It's now available in the Inventory Stockroom with a couple of other new items.

a WORKERS ripoff....
I've always liked this shirt and wished I could see it up close. It may be expensive, but your price is much more reasonable than buying it from the UK.
It's such a great piece. Even though it's expensive you know it's going to last.
It's good to see you guys getting stuff in a small (46), that's something that UK stockists should do more. Also, well done on getting the blue tweed Mallory Jacket - that really is a work of art.
i'm so close to buying it...
Nigel Cabourn is simply amazing. The Mallory jacket and this shirt are easily my favorites so far. Great job on the spring buy for the stockroom, by the way.
This and his reversable joint are two of the nicest pieces ive seen in a minute, but i just cant justify the price in my mind no matter how hard i try.
who the fuck you kidding with this shit, our london director ? simon used to have some kudos in these parts !! why do you talk about a shirt as if we are all your body type...
What a shirt! Great details through out and you know it's made to last. Now where can I scrounge $400 from. Hmmm.
I have read some good stuff on this blog. Definitely worth bookmarking for revisiting.
