Ryan Willms Taking a nice bit of inspiration from brands like Patagonia, Daiki has infused the surfing influence really nicely beyond the beach shorts and printed short sleeves. This pull over is a great spring piece that definitely lands on the casual side of the closet. I've been trying it on every couple of days since receiving a box of Woolen Mills samples and definitely would like to have one for myself. Odin is the only shop to receive the full sleeve version that I know of but their prices are suspiciously high I have to admit.

wow, that is awkwardly high. oh lordy! Amazing pullover though. I really really dig it.
This piece is specifically for those who live and die by woolrich. I can't imagine any self-serving utilitarian buying this for anything other than the label. Seriously, get a patagonia pull over (in the same style) for half the price. Where's the imagination Daiki?
It might be an great piece that'll last a lifetime, but the price is totally uncalled for. And even though the quality might be the best out there, I still don't need this. I need a good looking pullover that'll last and keep me warm, not a battle armour.
The quality isn't the best out there - not even close.
It's nice, but it's not the best in the world quality wise. I mostly posted due to the look and aesthetic, which might be the best. I'm not sure why you're referring to it as battle armour Eric? The price is a bit odd because it's well above srp.
Why can't you get a tan on your palms?
I actually found a vintage Woolrich version of this with the old sheep logo's engraved in the buttons for like $20. I do like this grey though.
It's a dead ringer (in design, at least) for the Patagonia Synchilla Snap-T Pullover ($95) and the Patagonia one is recycled and recyclable. Interesting that Patagonia has popped up in style blogs a couple of times over the past few days. A Continuous Lean posted an interview with Andy Spade last Thursday in which Spade mentions his appreciation for Patagonia not once, but twice. Good stuff!
Inspired by Patagonia? It's a darn near exact replica for a Synchilla Snap-T. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Woolrich bought a couple Snap-Ts and reverse engineered them.
when I turn 50 I will start to surf like daiki and wear retro patagonia.
Problem with the patagonia Snap-T is the huge fit. Otherwise its great. No one should pay crazy prices for fleeces though, wwm or otherwise.
lol so much hate in the comments! [ive always wanted to say]
Is it a fleece, crikey, I hope not (and doubt it)?
You can pick these up at hip in leeds, uk

Great post, thanks for taking time to write this....
I'm sure this piece has great details. but I'd go with the Patagonia version any day.
