Wings+Horns have been working on their chino pants for three seasons now and I can say that this spring's version is the best yet. They've addressed the main fit issues in the rise and inseam and have also stripped off a couple of bits of unnecessary detailing I wasn't a big fan of. You will now find the new Wings+Horns label in/on the back pocket, but it can be easily tucked inside. Apparently the chino is coming back according to other blogs I've been reading, so I guess this should be good timing. The fit is slim, but comfortable, the cotton twill is probably the most perfect I've seen in navy, khaki, black and olive and they are very well made – here in Canada. The only remaining detail is the buttons. They have added an extra one which helps, but I am still unsure how I feel about the sort of Native, crafty buttons on the fly. There is a lot more good than bad, and with the price coming down slightly, they are probably my top choice for a chino at the moment.

Wearing a pair right now (olive). Could not agree more, as someone who is always on the look out for the perfect chino for work and casual wear. This is one of the best so far, great weight and the cut is just right, slim but not too slim.
Nice writeup, with the balance of criticisms alongside where they nail it. These chinos feel great and the price is right but no 34 inseam lengths sent me to J. Crew.
Wearing my olive ones too today, W&H always do quality chinos, though last seasons did seem to be noticeably slimmer.
I've been looking for the perfect pair of olive chinos for a while now, but these are a little out of my price range, at the moment. Any other suggestions to a great pair?
^ j crew urban slim fits are decent for the price
My favorite chinos out there by far. Now if they could only step out of that color palette.
Back from where exactly?
I don't think chino's ever left...
I don't think there is a better pair personally with this spring's version. I just picked up a fresh pair of the khaki ones today.
Nick - I think it's worth spending a bit more if these fit you well, because the quality is among the best available. You'll have them longer and be in them more often.

Love wings + horns quality and cut. I have 3 pairs now. Previous seasons they ran on the short side but this time around they are noticeably longer, even rollable (I'm 6'). I don't see any extra buttons on my most recent pair. They've always had 4.
PS I am thinking of selling my navy 32" waist pair from f/w 2009 as they are a bit too big for me. If anyone is interested I can send pics. Email me: jstudiman@gmail.com.
i wish the wings horns website had a little more to offer, rather than just stockists, personally.
^Don't we all!
What is the pricing on these?
Anyone who has these care to comment on sizing? Waist TTS? Thigh, knee, leg opening? I have heard some positive and negative feelings about the cut, which probably means that they work better or worse for different body types. I am quite slim so if the taper from thigh to leg opening is too drastic they wont hang well on me. Any thoughts appreciated.

couldn't agree more. wearing my olive pair today too! I've got acne, wwm mountain pants, uniqlox+j, UVC, etc. this is probably one of if not the best chino out there.
I'm pretty slim (6', 155lbs) and I really like their fit. They are fairly narrow through the whole leg without being tight.
I am quite interesting in this topic hope you will elaborate more on it in future posts
