A coverall is something I'd still love to have although the jacket isn't exactly the most readily available garment out there. It's definitely no parka. This flannel-lined version from Japanese brand Challenger would be a welcome addition to my closet. It's medium weight makes it a perfect spring jacket as well as being a perfect layering piece come next fall. Three simple and great colours (the clayish brown being my favourite) combine well with subdued details like the nice Challenger logo and pocketing. Aside from the nice simple aesthetic of the jacket, it's not made from a super stiff canvas as traditional coveralls are. Yet the triple track stitching used on the yoke and sleeves, the stress points of the jacket, and heavy duty buttons mean the functionality is still there.

Might as well just take it to the next level; I mean a coverall is definitely not out of your superior heritage-based knowledge. Just make sure you send me a picture of you wearing it so I can get a good laugh.
