Call me crazy (and I'm sure plenty of you will) but I'm loving these shirts from Uniform Experiment. SOPH and Fragment rarely put a foot wrong with the brand but this piece was definitely an experiment. The mixing of bright spring plaids, a star pattern on a button down shirts has disaster written all over it yet somehow the result isn't nearly as bad as it could have been. Instead it's an off-key bit of magic. The white star pattern is a bit subdued thanks to the white in the madras checked shirts. While it's not your 4 time a week sort of shirt, it's a great piece that'd look good simply on it's own over some shorts or poking out from beneath a jacket.
It also comes in a short sleeved version.

Well, I'm not sure if any shirt is a 4 time a week shirt... but I really think this is quite nice. Not everything can be so staid as a plain oxford. Everyone needs some interesting pieces in their closet to mix in with the standards.
Am I the only one who thought "US Olympic Team" the second they saw this?
"Popping out from beaneath a jacket" would be the best way to wear this; the more covered-up the better!
these star print flannels are too sick. i've been after the previous one a while.
bad thing is it costs about 350$ which is unfortunatly too much for me, japan proxy would be an option.
Crikey!
Looks like BBC & Gitman's bastard lovechild.
I don't get this one at all.
Very cool well executed shirt
