While the BAPE brand caught a bad wrap through the early and mid 2000s due to the large impact of the trend driven hip hop community and an overkill of fake product, the brand has stayed strong and not stood still. It was the all over prints that made them popular, but Nigo and his are too good to be lost by the wayside. After forming strong relationships with TET and United Arrows, the brand is feeling stronger than ever with a number of great items each season. This small package curated and edited by the folks at United Arrows has been titled Mr. Bathing Ape. The mini collection includes a shirt and tie, long wings and loafers, and a couple of hats. While I'm not a big fan of the hats, the rest of the items look great - especially the ape head tie.
