I guess all the bird cliches and puns referring to Conference of Birds this summer caused the hype to fly south for the winter (sorry, I couldn't resist). I haven't heard anything about the upstart line by Andrew Holden since. I'm not too sure why though because the looks from his Spring collection are really good. Named after a ancient Arabic poem, the spring line seems to be desert inspired again with its palette of sands, creams, soft green and of course some black. Good shorts can be hard to find but right away I see two great options: cuffs or stripes. Both of which are the perfect length, just above the knee. I wasn't expecting to see so many strong jackets in a Spring collection not to mention what might be the perfect trench coat. I'm also loving the button at the bottom of the pants to give your cuff a bit of a lift. Will this Spring be the breakout season that everyone has been predicting?
