Mark McNairy for INVENTORY ITEMS

One of our most exciting collaborations this fall was with New York's Mark McNairy. Our navy bucks have been getting a bit of notice around the Internet, but we wanted to make note of our first footwear collaboration. Mark McNairy's classic American prep aesthetic has seen high praise from his work at J. Press, 68 & Brothers and more recently his own footwear collections with the Sanders factory and Weejuns. We took one of the most classic models, the bucks, from Mark's New Amsterdam collection and changed the colours, added a spare set of laces, our heel stamp on the inside and actually our run of shoes is made in a different width. As the average English foot tends to be a bit wider, so we had our bucks made in a D width to suit our own feet a little nicer. The Goodyear welt looks great on the Red Brick Sole, and is complimented perfectly by the navy blue suede and leather lined interior. It was a shoe we've been after for a couple seasons but haven't been able to track down in our size and outside of Japan. It's simple, but with the lightweight sole and dark coloured upper, the shoe is perfect for year-round wear. We're proud to present our first footwear collaboration and were happy to work with Mr. McNairy.
