The sad fact of the matter is, my head isn't long enough, or otherwise the right shape to wear this hat. Which doesn't stop me admiring it's many varied fabrics atop the head of somebody else. While I know several advocates of this particular look, I've never actually tried a short sleeve sweater for myself. The only examples of this type of garment I've seen in the flesh have been vintage, and none have ever been close enough to the right fit and size for me to try them on. These new arrivals at Silver & Gold, from the Japanese licensed Champion brand, are pretty tempting though, and they look to be a nice item to pick up for the current in-between season we're experiencing here in New York.
