Test Shots: Chris Gibbs

01

Words

Jake has been keeping his camera busy and while out in LA recently he captured one of the coolest guys around. Chris Gibbs is the owner of Union and is definitely a big influence on a lot of people and the way they thinking about getting dressed. Chris and his shop are definitely on another level from what’s been going on in North America and he is continuing to push forward. If you haven’t already picked it up, the first issue of Inventory also has an interview with Chris from when we visited him in LA as well.

Wow....

I haven't been on this particulae site for a while now and certainly wasn't expecting to see so much hate.

What's with all the negativity? These test shots are simply someone getting creative and having a bit of fun with it. Don't take it so seriously people.

Also judging by most of the negative comments it appears most of you regularly check out the Jake Davis blog as you seem to follow what he is doing enough to pass negativity judgement.

If you don't like it, don't visit the site or better yet turn off your computer for a while.

I hate to say it but I have to agree with many of the posters above. I just don't get the mindblowing "style". He just looks like another guy sweating in a bunch of shirts.

the only ammusing part is the fact that you guys are posting messages on a fashion blog as if you're responding to a piece of fine art. we're not discussing Caravaggio, here. this is essentially a jcrew catalog for people with a more acquired taste. period.
