Wood Wood Rod Laver

Within the realm of tennis shoes it's usually Stan Smith and his iconic three perforated stripes that get all the love. I'm a Rod Laver man though. Arguably the cleanest most classic sneaker silhouette ever, Adidas was wise to choose it as the focus for the latest round of Consortium 3-Way collaborations. While there's some great versions by perennial sneaker giants Undefeated, Goodfoot and VA, for me it doesn't get better than Wood Wood's. The Danish brand has always had a knack for fantastically simple designs with their footwear and this one's no reason. Canvas is something that isn't used on footwear enough in my opinion, it's durable, looks good and easy to maintain. As for the colour, you know we love navy and with a nubuck lining and 3 different lace options (white, navy and red) you've got one of the best pieces of footwear in a while. Like me, you might not be much of a sneaker wearer anymore but pulling these out of the closet every now and again would be so easy.
